While other brands have been okay, the Denis Wick cup mute has been fantastic. I love the adjustable feature offered by this cup mute. It lets me choose the type of cup mute sound needed, ranging from an open cup to a closed cup sound. I can’t say that about the competitors’ mutes, but this Denis Wick cup mute was pretty much in tune the first time I put it into my bell. Great product!

I am a returning trumpet player after taking a few years off to focus on other instruments. I was having trouble with my sound and hitting notes consistently. The Denis Wick trumpet practice mute is the best one I have ever used and I have used several over the years. The sound quality and intonation are great. The fit in the bell is snug and fits perfectly. Plus it’s light weight.
