Wyatt Boswell

Born in 1996, Wyatt Boswell started his musical career as a young euphonium player from Mansfield, Texas. While attending high school at Mansfield, he performed with ensembles including the Greater Dallas Youth Orchestra Wind Symphony (2012-2015) and the Texas Music Educators Association All-State Bands (2014, 2015).

Wyatt attended West Texas A&M University, (2015-2019) where he earned his bachelor’s degree in music education. Wyatt studied euphonium under Dr. Jeremy Lewis. While at university, Wyatt performed in numerous ensembles including the WTAMU Tuba Euphonium ensemble, WTAMU Brass Choir, and WTAMU Symphonic Band. During university he has performed as an invited ensemble at the Texas Music Educators Association, College Band Directors National Association, and the International Euphonium Tuba Festival.

After university, Wyatt began his teaching career. As of now, he is the Assistant Director of Bands at Big Spring High School in Big Spring, Texas. He is starting his 4th year of teaching band (2023). He has taught multiple all-state musicians in his teaching career.

Wyatt is also a social media influencer on TikTok, where he posts videos of himself performing small arrangements on his euphonium including classical excerpts and pop tunes.

He also exclusively uses the DW5512 practice mute, DW5513 straight mute, and the DW5587 travel mute.
