Jaime Gonzalez was born in Plainfield, NJ in 1976. He then moved to Stuart, Fl where he received great instruction and musical guidance from the wonderful musical influences/teachers in the area before making Orlando, Fl his permanent residence. There he received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Trombone Performance from the University of Central Florida in 2000.

Due to Orlando being a top tourist destination, the Central Florida area has provided Jaime with wonderful opportunities to work in a variety of genres and alongside great local musicians. He has worked with the Walt Disney Company, Universal Studios, Carnival Cruise Lines, various wedding bands, Jimmy Buffett, convention bands, studio recordings, and a wide variety of Latin Artists such as Tito Nieves, La India, Jerry Rivera, Daniela Darcourt, Andy Montañez, David Kada, Jose Alberto “El Canario”, Ismael Miranda, Tito Rojas, Fernando Varela’s PBS Special, Tito Puente Jr., La Puerto Rican Power, Luisito Carrion, 33DC, Puchi Colon, Cuto Soto, Eddie Santiago, Hector Tricoche, Frankie Ruiz Jr., Cano Estremera, Michael Stuart, Tony Vega, Tito Gomez, Roberto Blades, Raulin Rosendo, Anthony Cruz, Brenda K. Jaime has been playing the trombone for over 37 years. He understands the importance of helping others reach their musical goals, as well as giving back by holding master classes or private instruction. Jaime’s trombone playing, combined with his professionalism, attitude, and dependability makes him one of Florida’s top call trombone players.
