Luis is a well known musician and trombonist from the city of Cali-Columbia where is has been based for more than 18 years. He studied at the conservatoire of fine arts at the age of 16. University was very much the springboard to be part of one of the greatest salsa orchestras of all time in Columbia.
He has learnt from many of the great musical masters and this inspired Luis in 2014 to record his first album entitled “Ayer Perdi”.
In 2015 Kmilo and Band Golda won the Album Ferai de Cali (Alegria y Canto Feria de Cali) which brings together the best orchestras in the region. Then in 2020 he was winner with his project band (Banda Golda) of the “Crea Sonidos” an award given by the state government by the hand of my musical godfather “Yuri Buenaventura” at this point he decided to record his second music album. In 2023 Luis finished this second album and since then has visited as a performer some great countries such as; Dubai, Morocco, Casa Blanca Paris, Cannes, Monaco and Spain.
